Book a CBR theory exam

Of course you need to prepare for the CBR theory exam. Make no mistake like so many others: about half pass the theory test! If you think you are ready for the theory exam, you can book a place at the CBR. You can do this through your driving school or directly at the CBR.

In addition to 'normal' theory exams, you can also take special theory exams. This can be useful, for example, if you suffer from dyslexia. You can find more information about all the theory exams on the cbr website!

There are several CBR exam centers in the Netherlands where you can take your theory exam.

This is how it goes on the CBR theory exam

Make sure you are at the exam center about fifteen minutes in advance. And don't forget your valid proof of identity and your reservation number.

You will receive the result immediately after the exam and also by e-mail within 24 hours. This is only possible if you (or your driving school) have entered your email address when booking. If you have passed, we will register it in our system. Your 'Sufficient' result is valid for 1.5 years. If you fail, the e-mail explains what you need to work on for your next theory exam. You can also make a new appointment after receiving this email.
